The Cruciform Chamber Necklace is based on the chamber at Newgrange which is cruciform in shape. Each piece on the chain relates to one of the basin stones that were found in the three recesses at Newgrange. If you draw a horizontal line from one black rhodium piece to the other, and then draw a line vertically upwards from the gold shape, you are left with a cruciform shape.

This chamber was built well before the dawn of Christianity and due to this culture's preoccupation with the sky, archaeologists have speculated that this shape mimics that of the Cygnus constellation. Which can be seen very prominently above the hill where this passage grave is based.
